The SoundLinQ connects directly to the back of the factory stereo system in your vehicle. The SoundLinQ gives you the CD Quality Sound you have been looking for from your iPod in the car. No FM Transmitter solutions can compare the crystal clear audio from a direct connection adapter.
The SoundLinQ will display all of your iPod Text information on the factory radio or navigation display. You can browse between songs, and playlists all from the factory radio and steering wheel controls. This means that you can stow the iPod out of sight, such as in the glove box, and do all of the playlist controlling on the factory radio / navigation system. With the SoundLinQ the iPod display and controls can also remain fully functional for those who would prefer to use the controls on the iPod itself. There is no safer or easier way to use an iPod in the car.
In addition the sound quality and advanced browsing features, the SoundLinQ will power and charge any iPod it connected to. It will also pause the iPod and shut it off when you turn off the vehicle. You never have to worry about charging your iPod before using it in the car, or shutting it off when you leave.

The SoundLinQ is designed specifically for the stereo system in your vehicle's. It will connect directly to the back of the radio without any cutting or splicing of wires. The adapter box itself sits in the open area behind the factory radio. From the adapter, a single cable runs to wherever you would like to have the iPod. All of the Sound, Power, Text, and Control are done from this single cable connecting to the bottom of the iPod.
Once your iPod is connected it is immediately recognized by the stereo system. The iPod is accessed by pressing the CD button twice, or by pressing the MODE or SOURCE button until the iPod is available. Text information from the iPod will display on the factory radio / navigation screen , and either the iPod itself or the radio / steering wheel controls can be used to change tracks.
All in-dash CD Changers, satellite radio systems, and navigation systems will continue to work normally with this adapter. You can install the adapter yourself, or take it to any local car stereo shop, mechanic, or dealership to have put in.
