The PODFRDCAN works with any iPod that uses the standard iPod connector on the bottom of the iPod. It provides CD Quality Sound from the iPod through your factory stereo... something that was never possible until now.
The controls on the factory Radio and Steering Wheel can be used to change Tracks, Playlists, Albums, and Artists on the iPod. The PODFRDCAN makes using an iPod in the car as safe as possible by allowing you to change songs without ever taking your hands off of the wheel or eyes off of the road.
The PODFRDCAN supports text display on the factory radio. The artist and song title will be is displayed on the factory ford radio, so you and your passengers will always know what you are listening to.
The PODFRDCAN powers and charges any iPod it is connected to and shuts off the iPod when you turn exit the vehicle. You never have to worry about charging your iPod before or after using it in your car.

The PODFRDCAN plugs directly into the back of the factory radio. The adapter box itself is very small and sits right behind the radio, from there a single cable runs to wherever you would like to have the iPod.
You can install the adapter yourself, or take it to any local car stereo shop or dealership to have done. Any local stereo shop, even circuit city or best buy, can install the adapter for around 40 dollars. All in-dash CD Changers will also continue to work normally. If you have satellite radio, it will need to be disconnected to use this adapter.
The PODFRDCAN comes with everything you need to connect your iPod to your car. No additional cables or equipment are necessary.
