The IPDCFD002 plays the iPod directly through through the factory car stereo in CD Quality Sound, and is guaranteed to have absolutely no static or distortion.
The IPDCFD002 allows users to control their music either from the iPod itself, or by using the factory radio and steering wheel controls. Factory radio and steering wheel controls can be used to browse the iPod by track, album, artist, or genre. The adapter displays song and artist information on the factory radio or navigation display.
The IPDCFD002 powers and charges the iPod while connected, and shuts off the iPod when you exit the vehicle. Many users even choose to leave the iPod stowed away in the glove box permanently, controlling everything from the factory radio controls, for a truly seamless integration.
The IPDCFD002 features 2 Auxiliary inputs located on the side of the adapter box, which can be used to connect any other audio device such as satellite radio, or a non-iPod MP3 Player.

The IPDCFD002 plugs directly into the satellite radio port located on the back of the factory radio. It shares the port with the existing satellite radio connected to radio. No cutting or splicing wires is necessary to connect this adapter. The iPod is accessed by pressing the CD button twice, or by pressing the source / mode button until the iPod is selected on the radio.
In-dash CD changers, Satellite Radio, and Navigation Systems are unaffected by the IPDCFD002 and will continue to work normally.
You can install the IPDCFD002 yourself, or you can take it to any local car stereo shop, mechanic, or dealership to have put in. Detailed installation instructions are included.
