In addition to the high quality audio, the Neo iOn PODFD4V6 allows users to navigate their music using both the iPod itself, as well as from the controls on the Factory Car Radio and Steering Wheel (if available). The Radio Track Previous / Next buttons can be used to change songs on the iPod, just like you were pressing the track next buttons on the iPod itself. This gives users the most integrated, safest, and highest quality experience possible.
The Neo iOn PODFD4V6 powers and charges the iPod so you never have to worry about charging your iPod before using it in the car. All of the CD Quality Sound, Power and Charging, and Controls are done from a single cable connected to the bottom of the iPod.

The Neo iOn PODFD4V6 plugs directly into the back of the vehicle's stereo without any cutting or splicing. You can install the adapter yourself, or take it to any local car stereo shop (including Circuit City or Best Buy) to have put in.
The adapter box itself is small and sits in the open space behind the radio. A single cable runs from the adapter box to the iPod. This cable is over 7ft long, and can be routed to wherever you choose to have the iPod in the vehicle. The cable now comes in black, and can be easily stowed away while not in use.
Once connected, the iPod is accessed the same way a factory CD Changer would be. In most cases it is done by pressing the CD, Source, or Mode button until the iPod is selected.
The Neo iOn PODFD4V6 comes with everything you need to connect your iPod to your Car. No additional cables or equipment are necessary. If you have a CD Changer located in trunk or glove box, it will need to be disconnected to use this adapter.
