The factory stereo system in many vehicles is equipped with an auxiliary input on the back of the car stereo which is usually used for a satellite radio or additional CD changer system. The PA11-CHR connects your iPod directly to the factory stereo using this input, giving you the CD Quality Sound you have been looking for from your iPod in the car.
In addition to the high quality sound, this adapter allows you to change songs using the controls on the iPod itself, or by using the track controls on the factory radio or steering wheel (if available). The PA11-CHR also powers and charges the iPod while it is connected so you never have to worry about charing your iPod before using it in the car.
The PA11-CHR works with any i Pod that uses a standard i Pod connection plug on the bottom. This includes all iPods 3rd Generation and newer (iPod Standard, iPod Mini, iPod Photo, iPod Video, iPod NANO)

Since the PA11-CHR is designed specifically for the stereo system in your vehicle it connects to the back of the radio without any cutting or splicing of wires. The adapter box itself sits in the open area behind the radio. It is connected to a single cable that runs to wherever you would like to have the iPod. All of the Sound, Power, and Control are done from this single cable connecting to the bottom of the i Pod.
Once connected the iPod is accessed by pressing the CD button twice. All of the display and controls on the i Pod will continue to work normally. Everything you need to connect your iPod to your car is included with this kit, no additional tools or equipment are necessary. You can install the adapter yourself or take it to any local car stereo shop, mechanic, or dealership to have put in.
